CALL TO ARTISANS

 

As you probably know, animals are very important to everyone at Unleashed Life. For this reason, we are planning a special event for a June 7th Art Walk with a local home decor store, Obelisk Home, called WAG: Wine and Art for Good. This is a call to businesses, artists, builders and branders to unleash your creative genius and love for pets by creating, building, painting or sculpting. It could be pet focused wall art, a dog house, a pet feeder, a pet bed, anything that inspires you. All created from cool stuff, lovely stuff, weird stuff or logical stuff. Your entry can be functional or just an artist’s imaginative rendition for art’s sake. Be fun, be controversial, make a statement, whisper…just be creative. We are challenging you to create an inspired piece for the love of animals at which time we will auction off these pieces, with 100% of the proceeds going to the Humane Society of Southwest Missouri.

Each year the Humane Society provides shelter, health services and adoption placement for thousands of dogs and cats. They desperately need our help to provide these services as well as educate the public about responsible pet ownership.
